First release of the Plant Growth Stages Ontology!
A set of controlled vocabulary terms describing the whole plant growth stages of a 'generic' flowering plant is now available. This release encompasses Arabidopsis, soybean, maize, rice and Triticeae. Over 400 gene annotations to the new terms are also added to the POC database.January 18, 2005

Gene annotations for Arabidopsis, rice and maize associated to the Plant Structure Ontology terms are now available. Over 3,000 gene annotations from three species-specific databases, TAIR, Gramene and MaizeGDB, can now be queried and retrieved using our ontology browser, the Plant Ontology AmiGO.July 23, 2004
